Welcome to the Willingdon Trees Community Centre!
The Community Centre opened in 2001 and is run by a small charity, The Trees Community Association Ltd. It is the aim of the charity to run the Centre as a community asset for the benefit of people living within the Willingdon Trees neighbourhood and the surrounding area’s of Eastbourne.
The Centre has been developed in a thriving and vibrant community hub, offering:
- a space for afforable community hire
- a venue for essential advice and support services
- free to access social groups
- opportunities for learning and volunteering
- an inclusive and friendly environment
The Centre is run by three part-time staff members and a team of fantastic volunteers.
Since 2016 we have been working in partnership with Sussex Community Development Association to manage and develop the Community Centre. More information about SCDA and how they make a difference in our community can be found on their website http://sussexcommunity.org.uk/.
