Willingdon Trees Community Centre

The Community Centre boasts two good sized halls, with gardens attached to each, and a commercial sized kitchen.

The large hall is approximately 11m by 11m and can accommodate 80-100 people and the smaller hall is approximately 6m by 11m and can accommodate 30 people. 

Currently maximim capacity is reduced to ensure we are Covid-19 Secure complaint – depending on group sizes and the activity being undertake, we can accommodate between 9 and 36 in the large hall and 6 and 16 in the small hall.  We currently have a range of safety measures in place – including hand santisers, a one-way traffic system and regular cleaning – to ensure the safety and wellbeing of our visitors, volunteers and staff.

We are fully accessible, being on one level with no steps and having disabled toilets, an integral hearing loop and a disability friendly community garden with raised beds.  We have ample free parking and have plenty of green space, being situated directly in front of Holly Place Park.  We are close to stops on Eastbourne Buses 1, 1A and Loop bus routes.  

Our competitive hire charges are £15 per hour for the large hall and £12 per hour for the smaller hall, and £10 per hour for the kitchen.  Discounts can be offered for recurring bookings of 3 or more sessions.  A deposit of £50 is also required to secure bookings.  We accept payment by cheque, cash and debit/credit card.
